CSS Campus

Jewish college students should never feel forced to hide their identity or compromise their safety. Launched in response to rising campus antisemitism, CSS Campus empowers the next generation to take precautions to safeguard themselves, their peers and their campus organizations.

Through CSS Campus training programs, we build confidence and physical safety skills, ensuring students can stand proudly and vibrantly as Jewish students on campus.

Explore Our Two Core Training Tracks

Krav & Kesher

Our cornerstone campus initiative is an immersive, four-week program that builds physical readiness and lasting community connections. Krav & Kesher focuses on personal safety, and CSS delivers the program in partnership with local Hillels, Chabads and campus groups.

  • Master practical, hands-on Krav Maga self-defense from certified instructors.
  • Develop high-level situational awareness and de-escalation tactics.
  • Strengthen Jewish identity and build a tight-knit peer network dedicated to mutual protection.

Campus Security & Safety Workshops

CSS delivers tailored, single-session workshops for student boards, fraternity/sorority chapters and national campus organizations.

  • Learn the immediate fundamentals of threat detection and personal safety.
  • Equip your student leadership with actionable emergency response protocols.

For Hillel, Chabad, & Campus Leaders

Why partner with CSS?
CSS is the leading Jewish volunteer security organization, and CSS Campus brings the same professionalism it brings to synagogues and Jewish events to student life. Our staff works hand in hand with campus professionals to build a proactive culture of safety without turning your community into a fortress. By hosting a program or workshop, you give your students the practical skills and confidence to take part openly and proudly in Jewish life.

Can we schedule a standalone workshop instead of committing to the full 4 weeks?
Yes. Krav & Kesher is our flagship experience, but we regularly deliver high-impact, single-session Campus Security & Safety Workshops, and they are often the right fit for student boards, fraternity and sorority chapters, or a community-wide safety night. Each session covers the fundamentals of threat detection and personal safety, and gives student leaders clear, actionable emergency response protocols.

How do we get started?
Contact our campus operations team. We help you evaluate your security needs and schedule the ideal training track for your student body.

For Students

Why get involved?
You deserve to feel confident and secure walking across campus. CSS Campus gives you practical tools to protect yourself and look out for your friends, including hands-on self-defense, situational awareness and de-escalation. You’ll also join a tight-knit community of proud Jewish peers who have each other’s backs.

What is the commitment?
Our flagship Krav & Kesher track meets once a week for four weeks; it is designed to fit alongside classes, clubs and everything else on a student’s schedule. If your group prefers a shorter option, a campus leader can request a standalone one-session workshop.

What does it cost?
CSS Campus is free for students. That includes all programs, workshops and training materials.
