Who We Are

Community
Security Service

Protecting Jewish Life and Jewish Way of Life

Our mission is defined by two equal mandates: protecting Jewish life and safeguarding Jewish way of life. True security should never force our community behind closed doors or strip away our historic warmth. We secure our institutions so that Jewish life across America stays vibrant, open and proud.

We achieve this through three foundational pillars:

Community, Grassroots & Empowerment

Our strength is entirely bottom-up because true resilience is built from the community within.

By empowering ordinary community members with practical security skills, we replace vulnerability with collective confidence. Our volunteers are active members of the congregations they protect. And they are deeply familiar with their community’s faces and routines, which allows them to spot subtle anomalies that outsiders routinely miss while maintaining a welcoming presence at our doors.

Security, Professionalism & Safety

While our movement is community-led, our protection is professional-grade. Our comprehensive training frameworks are developed, vetted and continuously updated by leading global security professionals. We equip everyday citizens with high-level skills in situational awareness, threat detection, access control and tactical de-escalation to establish a robust, standardized safety infrastructure across all Jewish denominations and demographics.

Service, Trust &
Responsibility

Volunteering with CSS is a profound act of civic service and communal duty. Over nearly two decades, we have earned the deep trust of local leadership, national institutions and law enforcement agencies. CSS volunteers don’t replace local police or paid guards; our certified volunteer network is a highly coordinated force multiplier on the ground, safeguarding the people we love as a matter of sacred responsibility.
